RentalPay supports categories such as: designer wear ethnic wear wedding outfits partywear traditional wear fashion accessories depending on listings available on the platform.
Can I list my own clothes for rent?
Yes. Users can upload and manage their own clothing listings through their account dashboard.
Is RentalPay available only for premium clothing?
RentalPay mainly focuses on premium and designer fashion rentals to ensure quality experiences for renters.
How do rental bookings work?
Users select: start date rental duration The system automatically calculates: rental charges refundable security deposit based on booking duration.
Can I check outfit availability before booking?
Yes. RentalPay includes an availability calendar that shows booked and available dates before confirming rentals.
How is the rental price calculated?
The total price depends on: rental duration daily rental rate refundable security deposit The final amount is displayed before payment confirmation.
Is the security deposit refundable?
Yes. Security deposits are refundable after the item is returned and verified according to platform policies.
What happens if I return an item late?
Late returns may result in additional charges which are deducted from Deposit
Which payment methods are supported?
Payments are securely processed through Razorpay and supports: UPI debit cards credit cards net banking digital wallets
How do clothing owners receive earnings?
Owners can connect: bank accounts UPI IDs to receive payouts from successful rentals.
Is payment information secure?
Yes. Payments are processed through secure payment gateways with encrypted transactions.
Can I view my booking and payment history?
Yes. Users can access their order history, rental details, and payment records through their account dashboard.
Is phone verification required?
Yes. RentalPay uses Firebase OTP verification for phone authentication to improve account security.
What should I do if I forget my password?
Use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page to securely reset your password.
Are listings reviewed before being published?
Yes. Listings maygo through moderation and approval processes before becoming publicly visible.
Can admins reject inappropriate listings?
Yes. Admins can approve, reject, or manage listings to maintain platform quality and safety.
Can users upload multiple images for outfits?
Yes. Listings can include multiple outfit images for better visibility and presentation.
How are outfits delivered?
User can either self Pickup/Drop , or use thirdparty services(coming soon)
How are returns handled?
After the rental period ends, renters return the outfit , and verifies the return through OTP transaction in order to recieve deposit back
What happens if an item is damaged?
Damage policies may affect refundable deposits and may require review before refunds are processed.
Does RentalPay support real-time chat?
Real-time chat functionality is planned for future updates.
Will there be a mobile app?
Yes. A native mobile application is part of the future roadmap

Why am I not receiving OTPs?

Can RentalPay suspend accounts violating policies?
